Preparing to Take the GED Tests

Most people prepare for the GED Tests through review classes, books, or practice tests. Many already have the knowledge and skills they need. Passing the GED Tests lets them prove it.

Every community and technical college and several community-based organizations in Washington offer low-cost programs that can help prepare you to take the GED Tests. A link to the directory of programs that can give you information about preparatory classes is available in the sidebar on this page.

GED preparation materials are also available at most local bookstores and public libraries.
