Washington Adult Basic Education Reporting System (WABERS+)
The Basic Education for Adults (BEdA) Office at the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges developed WABERS+, an online application that facilitates the statewide reporting system of data collection for adult education programs. WABERS+ meets all state and federal data collection and reporting requirements.
WABERS+ helps BEdA providers collect and report student demographics, intake, program and personnel data, courses, hours, and test information. WABERS+ provides reports that enable providers to analyze data for continuous program improvement. All adult education providers funded by or contracted with the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges are required to report data at least quarterly using WABERS+. Future funding decisions will be based on each basic skills provider’s performance, calculated using data in WABERS+.
Providers must have their data entered and updated in WABERS+ prior to the quarterly snapshot deadlines listed below:
- Summer 2014 - 9/10/14
- Fall 2014 - 1/12/15
- Winter - 4/10/15
- Spring - 7/10/15
Guidance on when data can be entered into WABERS+ and all other instructions can be found in the WABERS+ User Manual.
