New Administrator's OnLINE Training

For administrators with less than two years experience directing Basic Skills Programs in Washington

Register Now!

The New Administrator Online Training Modules are to assist ABE Program Administrators who have been in their current positions for two years or less as they learn the ropes.  Although our administrators come to us with a wealth of career experiences, either in ABE or from other fields or departments, they often express a need for specialized training that speaks directly to their new position.

The modules will be offered through WAOL using the Blackboard system and will be taught by Professional Development staff and experienced directors from The Council for Basic Skills.

The first one-week module will be September 24-28. The estimated time commitment from participants is about 5 hours per week.  New administrators interested in participating in the 2007-2008 cohort must register by September 10, 2007. Class size is limited to 15 participants.
