Guidelines for using the Creating Opportunities Logo

1. The logo is intended to communicate the benefits of the Washington community and technical college system.
2. The logo may be used to promote programs affiliated with Washington’s community and technical colleges.
3. The logo will replace all former use of the Smart Investment Logo.
4. Do not stretch or distort the logo proportions. Do not add or alter the structure or elements.
5. Only use the logo in black or PMS 287. It is acceptable to reverse-out the logo or it can be the primary color of a one- or two-color piece, as appropriate.
6. The logo must include a perimeter of white space so it stands alone from other graphic elements.
7. Examples of use of the logo are:
• Publications produced by the Washington community and technical colleges to promote their value to students and the community.
• Publications produced by the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges to promote the system’s value to the state.
8. If questions arise, the SBCTC Director of Communications has final authority for the proper use of the Creating Opportunities logo.
