Employability/Co-location Study
In 2003, the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) was directed by the state legislature to conduct a study on the feasibility and benefits of establishing one-stop satellite offices on community and technical college campuses in order to improve delivery of employment services and programs to people struggling to achieve self-sufficiency.
These one-stop offices house both the Employment Security Department (ESD) and the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS).
