Kirstin Haugen joins Cascadia Community College Board of Trustees
Haugen is an account executive at Mercury, LLC in Seattle, where she oversees client relations with AT&T. From 2004 to 2006, she served as legislative aide to Metropolitan King County Councilmember Bob Ferguson. Haugen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Washington. Celeste Strahl joins Lake Washington Technical College Board of Trustees Celeste Strahl of Seattle has been appointed to the board of trustees of Lake Washington Technical College by Gov. Chris Gregoire. Her term became effective in February, and will run through September 2007. Strahl is a registered nurse and an instructor at Seattle University. In addition, she also serves as a court appointed special advocate for the King County Juvenile court.
Whatcom Community College has selected Dr. Kathi Hiyane-Brown to serve as the next president of the college, succeeding Dr. Harold Heiner.
