State Board for Community & Technical Colleges 2005-07 Capital Budget Request – Projects by College

The capital budget request includes funds for each college to make repairs and minor improvements to preserve facilities, improve safety and make small adjustments to improve the usefulness of current buildings. This chart shows requests for new buildings, replacements, major renovations and matching funds projects (where the state matches local funding raised by the colleges). Major new buildings are typically developed in three stages — predesign, design and construction — over three biennia.

$2.4 million to renovate Brown Library

Yakima Valley Community College $28.6 million to construct classroom building, replacing Glenn and Anthon halls;
