Do you have a project that you would like to collaborate on? Have you ever found yourself discussing a group of student or a report with a colleague, thinking that you were both referring to the same thing, then found out that you weren't? Have you ever started development on something that you wondered if you have to start from scratch? Is there an area of expertise you need to tap? Please join us as we discuss collaborative projects and begin forming a list of common IR terminology with definitions.

Discussion Session - Student Achievement Task Force (SATF) Updates and Future Plans

SATF member will provide a brief overview of the ITV session with Davis Jenkins regarding the SA evaluation. This will be followed by a facilitated discussion about the multifaceted aspects of the SA initiative and the current state of the research with the goals of: 1) getting information for and from all the WARP members, and 2) identifying issues which will help the SATF focus in on appropriate research questions.

Student Achievement Initiative Task Force Data Discussion -
Hosted by the SATF and the Data Stewards committees, the purpose of this session is two-fold:

  • Participants will share evidence-based, documented, examples of potential data discrepancies between the SAI data warehouse and their own student records.
  • Participants will share examples of how their college is using SAI data to support and evaluate practices and programs.

The panel will begin a discussion about how CCSSE data has been distributed at their colleges and the extent to which the data has inform changes in practice, new initiatives, etc. The panel hopes participants will also share their experiences during this session. The panel will be available to answer questions about the technical aspects of the CCSSE administration.
