ctcLink Trainer (PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Student Financials)

Position Overview

The Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) invites qualified individuals to apply for the ctcLink Trainer (PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Student Financials) position. 

The Trainer is responsible for training staff and assisting in developing PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Student Financials training and knowledge transfer materials in accordance with the training plan developed for the Washington state community and technical college system’s PeopleSoft ERP environment (ctcLink).

The successful candidate will have a high level of experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Tuition calculation, third party contracts, payment plans, cashiering and refunds.
  • Accounts receivables, collections, general ledger (GL) interface, and term rollover.
  • Facilitation and collaboration.
  • Integrating educational technology.

About the team

The Training Team works in collaboration with Project and ERP (ctcLink) Functional Analysts to develop and manage various types of training content used to prepare staff at the colleges to be successful in their use of the PeopleSoft system. 

About ctcLink

The SBCTC Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a a multi-phase, multi-year project called ctcLink. It will replace the full administrative software suite for our 34 community and technical colleges, as well as the SBCTC. The project is estimated to end in 2022.

  • Work with the Training Team and Training Manager to follow and execute the training plan for the ctcLink environment.
  • Deliver classroom and/or virtual instructor-led training to end-users, as well as participating in other training activities as directed by the needs of the project.
  • Interact with the Training Team, Innovation Team, Project Functional staff, ERP support staff, and other subject matter experts to define and review learning outcomes, course outlines, assessments and materials.
  • Communicate decisions, risks, barriers, and training material changes to training team, ERP support staff, project staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain the overall quality and effectiveness of the training program and working with other team members in the development of program evaluations.
  • Partner with other trainers, Project Functional Analysts and ERP support staff to ensure knowledge transfer and cross training.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of training materials and end-user documentation following prescribed templates and standards.
  • Coach, mentor and motivate regional training participants in the delivery of project standards and deliverables during train-the-trainer activities in accordance with training plan.
  • Two years working experience in PeopleSoft ERP.
  • Bachelor's or advance degree in instruction or training, or equivalent combination of related experience and/or education.
  • Three years of related professional experience in Student Financials.
  • Knowledge or experience working in a higher education environment.

This is a full-time, exempt position. The annual compensation for this position is listed above. This position reports to the Training Manager and coordinates closely with the Technology Innovation Officer.
