Points of Interest
Students who have collected unemployment benefits, qualify for TANF assistance, are unemployed or underemployed, or who meet other criteria may qualify for Workforce funding, which helps qualifying students pursing more than 40 degrees and certificates at TCC. TCC’s Workforce program also provides students with additional support, connecting them to resources on campus and in the community.
With support from community partners TCC recently opened a new Emergency Medical Services (EMS) lab in the Harned Center for Health Careers. Located adjacent to the EMS classroom, the lab houses the TCC ambulance and gives students hands-on experience with transport scenarios.
A recently launched website restructure is designed to help students to “Find Your TCC Path.” Programs are grouped by pathway, with pages structured to demonstrate how programs lead directly to careers. Each program page also includes a “Career Explorer” tool, which students can use to find careers within their areas of interest and compare salary ranges, required degrees, and projected local job growth.

*Students of color percent based on unduplicated headcount. Students may be counted in more than one race, so race/ethnicity percentages may not total 100%. Percentages calculated on reported value.
