Centers of Excellence celebrate 10th year of innovative workforce development for Washington

December 04, 2014

The Centers of Excellence announced today that 2014 marks the 10th year anniversary of their founding. Ten years ago, the Centers of Excellence were established by the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges, and in 2009, they were codified by the state Legislature. The centers are flagship institutions that build and sustain Washington’s competitive advantage through statewide leadership. Each center focuses on a targeted industry that drives the state’s economy and is built upon a reputation for fast, flexible and responsive workforce development to support education and training programs. >>
