State Board to discuss performance funding, applied bachelor's for teaching
OLYMPIA, Wash. — The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges at its March 23 meeting is set to discuss possible updates to the Student Achievement Initiative, a performance-based funding system for the colleges. Board members will also hear a statement of need for a teacher education applied bachelor's program at Columbia Basin College.
The meeting will begin at 8:15 a.m. at the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges office, Cascade conference room, 1300 Quince Street SE in Olympia. The State Board’s full agenda and background materials are posted at the State Board’s website.
The meeting is open to the public, except for an executive session at 10:30 a.m.
