With go-live dates only seven months away, Deployment Group 6 (DG6) colleges are keeping busy with training and data validation activities. At nine colleges — Bates Technical College, Clover Park Technical College, Columbia Basin College, Lake Washington Institute of Technology, Renton Technical College, Shoreline Community College, South Puget Sound Community College, Walla Walla Community College, and Yakima Valley College — DG6 has the distinction of being both the last and the largest ctcLink deployment group. As with prior deployment weekends, ctcLink has planned outage periods scheduled for all live colleges. >>
More than 70 ctcLink project managers (PM), organizational change managers (OCM), and ctcLink executive sponsors (ES), representing all 30 community and technical college districts, gathered during a virtual ctcLink Executive Sponsor and Project Manager Summit on May 21, 2021, to learn about the ctcLink Project from a leadership lens. Most important, the colleges learned the most from each other, with those already live on ctcLink sharing lessons learned, their hopes for the future of ctcLink, change management techniques, and building connections with their peers. >>
Yet another successful ctcLink implementation is in the books for SBCTC and Washington’s community and technical colleges as Deployment Group 4-B — Seattle Central College, North Seattle College, South Seattle College, and Seattle District office — officially went live on ctcLink this morning. With the addition of the Seattle Colleges, we mark a significant milestone for the college system's ctcLink Project: we are at the halfway mark, with 17 of 34 colleges now on ctcLink. >>
