State Board to take action on budget allocation model and 2016 budget request

The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges will hold its regular business meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 16. The board will consider a proposal to change the way state funds are allocated to community and technical colleges. It will also take action on the 2016 supplemental operating budget request that will go to the governor and Washington state Legislature when it convenes in January for its regular session. >>

Community and technical college board to consider updating capital budget development process, applied baccalaureate degrees

The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges will convene its regular business meeting Thursday, Feb. 5 from 8:30 a.m. to noon to consider updating the college system’s 2017-19 biennium capital budget development process. The board will also hear statements of need for applied baccalaureate degrees at Whatcom Community College (Bellingham), Tacoma Community College, Seattle Central College and Yakima Valley Community College. It will take final action on applied baccalaureate degrees at Bellevue College, Olympic College (Bremerton), Pierce College (Puyallup and Lakewood) and Spokane Falls Community College. >>
