OLYMPIA, Wash. — Members of the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges at its regular business meeting Thursday, April 10, are scheduled to approve three bachelor's degrees at two community colleges:
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy at Columbia Basin College
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Columbia Basin College
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Whatcom Community College
Also on the agenda is an update on the 2025 legislative session and a discussion of emerging issues from the federal government.
Board members will hold a study session on Wednesday, April 9, and are prepared to hear updates from the community and technical college system's presidents' association on potential changes to the system's allocation model and the way in which capital projects are prioritized for a request to the Legislature.
The study session and business meeting will be held at the State Board office, 1500 Jefferson St. SE in Olympia, and will be streamed live on TVW. The agenda and background materials are posted on the State Board website. The meetings are open to the public.
