College board set to vote on capital budget request, grants to colleges and partners

The Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges is set to vote at its meeting Thursday, June 28 on the college system's 2019-21 capital budget request to the Washington state Legislature. The $623 million request covers designs for 24 projects and construction of 13 projects at colleges around the state, in addition to funds colleges use for emergencies and minor improvements and repairs. >>

College board set to vote on 2018 supplemental budget allocation

The Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges will meet for its regular business meeting Thursday, March 29 from 8 a.m. to noon. The board is scheduled to give final approval to the system's plan to distribute fiscal year 2018 funds from the 2018 supplemental operating budget, the 2017-19 capital budget and the 2018 supplemental capital budget passed by the Washington state Legislature this session. >>

The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges at its Wednesday, Sept. 13 business meeting is set to vote on proposed changes to the college system's student achievement funding model. The Student Achievement Initiative awards funding to colleges based on the number of their students who reach benchmarks shown to increase success in college. >>
