State Board to consider college system strategic plan, continue 2021-23 budget discussion

The Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges will meet for a special business meeting Monday, March 23 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The special meeting is in place of the board's regularly scheduled meeting, which was set for March 23 and 24. The meeting was changed due to COVID-19 social distancing directives from Gov. Jay Inslee. >>

Budget planning, funding accountability on August State Board agenda

The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges will convene its August business meeting Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. to prepare for the college system's operating budget planning process for the 2021-23 biennium. The approximately 6-month long process will involve every college in support of the system's priorities and goals. The State Board is expected to adopt the system's 2021-23 operating budget proposal in August 2020. >>
