State Board to hear state budget outlook, continue 2021-23 budget discussion
OLYMPIA, Wash. — The Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges will meet for its regular business meeting Wednesday, May 6 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Board members will hear presentations on Gov. Jay Inslee's 2020 supplemental operating budget vetoes, a budget outlook for the coming year, and continued development of the community and technical college system's 2021-23 operating budget request to the Governor and the Washington state Legislature.
The board is also set to hear statements of need for a Registered Nursing to Bachelor of Science of Nursing Bellingham Technical College and a Bachelor of Applied Science of Manufacturing Engineering Technology at Renton Technical College.
The meeting will be held remotely and livestreamed on TVW. The meeting agenda and background materials are posted on the State Board website.
The meeting is open to the public.
