Winter Quarter 2021 - Professional Development
Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021
The Winter Quarter morning Professional development opportunity will be two different panel lead discussions and Q&As to talk about hosting successfully virtual events, as well as planning ahead for our return to campuses and how to still keep the virtual presence alive. This video is from the DePaul Office of Student Involvement department to help others streamline their virtual events. Our guests from DePaul will have the understanding that we have access to the video and our discussion will focus on other aspects of virtual and hybrid programming. The second will feature a panel of agents from the entertainment world.
The first morning session will run from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021 and will feature staff from DePaul University. The Q&A portion will really focus on what has been successful now, and how they (and we) can plan to be back on our campuses while still using some of the new technology to stay relevant to our students.
The second session will run from 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021 and will feature a panel of Agents from the entertainment world. The panel discussion will focus on what they have learned in their transition to the online world of entertainment. They will also be asked to expand on how they have seen campuses open and still continue to live in the hybrid world, and how we can successfully prepare for that transition as well.
