The Purchasing Affairs Council (PAC) coordinates the Washington state community and technical colleges' purchasing and procurement. The council, which is made up of representatives from the 34 community and technical colleges and the state’s four-year universities, looks to improve purchasing and procurement efficiency and consistency in the two-year college system. PAC serves as a professional development and training group, as well as a resource for colleges, the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges, the Council of Presidents and the State Purchasing Division.
