Aerospace 1,000 Full-Time Equivalent Students (FTES) Re-Distribution
Purpose of Funding
The funding for the Aerospace 1,000 Full-Time Equivalent Students (FTES) Re-Distribution was appropriated by Engrossed House Bill 2088 during the special Aerospace legislative session in November 2013. This funding is run by the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) and provided solely for increasing high demand aerospace enrollments by an additional one thousand full-time equivalent students in Washington state.
As a result of the 1,000 FTES Take Back Policy the redistribution process has been enacted to re-allocate 278 FTES at $8,000 per FTES.
The RFP process was conducted in FY18 with the expectation that successful proposals would be awarded funding beginning in FY19 (July 1, 2018).
This is a competitive process. Proposals that do not meet the minimum criteria required will not be considered.
Proposals will only accepted by the application close date through SBCTC’s Online Grant Management System (OGMS).
