Web Admissions Center allows students to use the web to apply for admission to participating Washington state community and technical colleges. Web Admissions Center is a centralized process that is housed on a server at the SBCTC-ITD. Colleges add a link from their web pages to Web Admissions Center.

The Student Web Access application (formerly Student Inquiry Options) allows students to view information related to their academic records. It also allows students to change their Personal Identification Numbers (PINs).
The Student Web Access functions include:
- Class Information
- Degree Audit
- New SID Display
- Financial Aid Inquiry
- Display My SID
- Registration Appointments
- Student PIN Change
- Student Schedule
- Unofficial Transcript
To install Student Web Access:
- Read Installing Student Web Access 2.3 (released April 2003). Technical staff responsible for software installations must read this before proceeding.
- Download StudentWebAccess.exe
- For additional information on Student Web Access, refer to the Web Transaction Server Manual.
The Schedule Planner application gives students the ability to plan their class schedules for a specified quarter using the web.
To install the Schedule Planner:
- Read Installing Schedule Planner 1.4 (released June 2007). Technical staff responsible for software installations must read this before proceeding.
- Download SchedulePlanner.exe.
- Complete additional steps for implementing Schedule Planner described in the Web Transaction Server Manual (includes SMS implementation responsibilities).
The Web Registration application allows students to register for classes and view class waiting lists using the web. Web Registration functions include:
- Web Registration
- Waitlist Inquiry and Update
- Student Address
To install Web Registration:
- Read Installing Web Registration 2.4 (released April 17, 2013). Technical staff responsible for software installations must read this before proceeding.
- Read Installing Web Registration 2.4.1 (released Aug. 19, 2013). Technical staff responsible for software installations must read this before proceeding.
- Download WebRegistration-2-4.exe
- Download WebRegistration-2-4-1.exe.
- Complete additional steps for implementing Web Registration described in the Web Transaction Server Manual (includes SMS implementation responsibilities).
The Student Address application allows students to view or change their address, phone number, and email address using the web.
To install Student Address:
- Read Installing Student Address 1.3 (released June 2009). Technical staff responsible for software installations must read this before proceeding.
- Download StudentAddress.exe (released June 2009) .
- Complete additional steps for implementing Student Address described in the Web Transaction Server Manual.
The Student Kiosk Access application gives students the ability to view information related to their academic records on a stand-alone kiosk. It also allows students to change their Personal Identification Numbers (PINs). Although Student Kiosk Access has similar functionality as Student Web Access, it runs in a web browser that can be used on a personal computer with a touch screen.
The Student Kiosk Access functions include:

To install Student Kiosk Access:
- Read Installing Student Kiosk Access 1.3 (released July 2002). Technical staff responsible for software installations must read this before proceeding.
- Download StudentKioskAccess.exe.

Faculty Applications and Additional Information
Instructor Briefcase is a faculty application that gives instructors the ability to manage their classes via the web. Instructor Briefcase functions include:
- Employee PIN Change
- Web Grading
- Class Rosters
To install Instructor Briefcase:
- Read Installing Instructor Briefcase 2.7 (revised Jan. 2009). Technical staff responsible for software installations must read this before proceeding.
- Download InstructorBriefcase.exe.
- Complete additional steps for implementing Instructor Briefcase described in the Web Transaction Server Manual.
The Web Transaction Server Manual located in Application General Resources contains documentation for installing and implementing the Web Transaction Server core product. It also covers decisions and implementation responsibilities that SMS functional staff must make for each of the web-enabled SMS applications.
