How to register

One contact per college coordinates New Faculty Institute registrations. Faculty interested in attending the Institute should notify their primary campus contact.

Registration deadline: Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019

Each college's primary contactwill email Jackie Eppler-Clark a list including:

  • Participant names
  • Participant college email addresses
  • Their discipline(s)
  • Any special dietary needs

Participant – $150 per person

Fee includes a light breakfast and lunch on both days, refreshment breaks and Institute materials.

Administrator – $25

To cover the cost of lunch plus space rental, the fee for administrators attending the August 29 Lunch with Administrators is $25.

Credit card and day-of-event payment cannot be accepted. Checks should be made payable to SBCTC and mailed to:

  • Attendees must purchase a daily parking pass from the kiosks located in the East or South parking lots.
  • The parking pass can be purchased with two $1 bills or a credit card. Machines do not give change.


Below is a list of a few nearby hotels. No room blocks are being held and availability of rooms at per diem rate must be verified at the time reservations are made. There are numerous other options in the airport area.
