Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree Programs
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN)
Student graduates of an associate nursing degree program who have received licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) are eligible to apply for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
Registered Nurses are eligible to apply for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program offered at our community and technical colleges throughout the state. Many of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees build upon the statewide approved ADN MRP/DTA in Nursing offered by our community and technical college nursing programs.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BS CS)
During the 2020-2021 legislative session, Washington State legislators passed Substitute Senate HB 5401, which permits community and technical colleges to offer a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree. Prior to this new legislation, Bellevue Community College was the only sector college permitted to offer a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree.
Per the legislation, community and technical colleges must apply to the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) to be approved to offer the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Colleges may submit applications as early as December 1, 2021.
