This residency classification is for qualifying high school graduates seeking permanent United States residency.
Residency classifications are mandatory and colleges must charge resident tuition rates for students meeting the residency requirements.
Fee Pay Status: 01
High school graduates meeting the requirements listed below shall be coded as resident students and be charged resident tuition rates.
- Student completed their entire senior year at a Washington state high school and received a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Has lived in Washington for three years immediately prior to receiving a high school diploma or equivalent
- Continues to live in Washington until admitted to college.
- Provides an affidavit indicating an intent to file an application to become a permanent resident.
