Six More Colleges Gear Up for Oct. 25 and Nov. 8 Go-Live

The ctcLink Steering Committee met Tuesday with project managers and college leadership from deployment DG5-B colleges (Bellingham Technical College, Big Bend Community College, and Whatcom Community College) and DG5-C colleges (Bellevue College, Everett Community College, and Grays Harbor College) to discuss readiness for Oct. 25 and Nov. 8, 2021 ctcLink go-lives. After reviewing the readiness results, the ctcLink Steering Committee unanimously approved DG5-B go-live for Oct. 25 and DG5-C go-live for Nov. 8, 2021. >>

Next Deployment Group Gears Up for October 11 Go-Live

The ctcLink Steering Committee met today with Deployment Group 5-A — Green River College and Skagit Valley College — project managers and college leadership to consider readiness for ctcLink go-live. The committee unanimously approved DG5-A go-live for Oct. 11, 2021, after reviewing readiness areas for the colleges, as well as the ctcLink Project team’s readiness for DG5-A conversion and the SBCTC ctcLink Customer Support organization’s readiness to support DG5-A colleges post-go-live >>

Colleges Learn and Lead Together During Virtual ctcLink Summit

More than 70 ctcLink project managers (PM), organizational change managers (OCM), and ctcLink executive sponsors (ES), representing all 30 community and technical college districts, gathered during a virtual ctcLink Executive Sponsor and Project Manager Summit on May 21, 2021, to learn about the ctcLink Project from a leadership lens. Most important, the colleges learned the most from each other, with those already live on ctcLink sharing lessons learned, their hopes for the future of ctcLink, change management techniques, and building connections with their peers. >>

After each deployment group (DG) goes live in ctcLink, the ctcLink Project Team documents and compiles issues (as well as successes) and considers improvement strategies to be implemented for the next deployments. This process of documentation and continuous improvement is referred to as “ctcLink Lessons Learned.” >>
