ctcLink Training

This page features information and resources for Washington community and technical college employees to learn about ctcLink PeopleSoft pillars, modules and training support resources.

Training is Now Open for Deployment Group 2

DG2, get ready to go live on ctcLink with PeopleSoft ctcLink courses!

These courses provide basic instruction on how to use ctcLink PeopleSoft. Your organization will provide local ctcLink training specific to your agency or campus procedures (e.g. deadlines for travel forms, purchasing policies). Courses are self-paced.

Members of DG3, DG4, DG5 and DG6, please see below for training options for all deployment groups.

Who may register?

At this time, only DG2 members — Clark College, Spokane Community College, Spokane Falls Community College, Spokane District, Tacoma Community College and SBCTC — may register.

Register

  • Select your course(s) and then fill out and submit the registration form. You will get a confirmation email with a list of courses for which you enrolled.
  • On the Canvas release date, you will receive a Canvas course invitation so you can get started. (Canvas release dates, if applicable, are listed in the course description.)

Which course(s) should I take?

Each course includes a description, course objectives, and a suggested list of who should take each class. Check with your supervisor or ctcLink Project Manager for help deciding which course(s) you should take.

Training Options for all Deployment Groups

PeopleSoft Fundamentals: Prerequisite to ctcLink Courses

Get to know PeopleSoft! PeopleSoft Fundamentals is for any Washington community and technical college staff working in any of the ctcLink pillars. Depending on your role, you will continue through various additional courses to gain a basic understanding of each.

Note: This prerequisite course is not included on the DG2-only registration form and is open to all deployment groups.

Training for DG3, DG4, DG5 and DG6

Optional enrollment in "Self-Service" courses — employee, manager, student services (CS) staff, advisor, faculty and student — will be available to all deployment groups on Oct. 9, 2019.
